I did a very healthy thing today... took some measurements while going through the book Protein Power and found out my 'ideal' weight. And I found out that I'm smack in the middle of that range. Whaddya know? Apparently I don't need to lose weight at all... hello, plateau... but merely burn some of the fat and build more muscle. This did wonders for my self image!!!

... I wouldn't have come back. By now, you might be wondering if I gained so much weight back that I've been avoiding y'all, or thinking I flat gave out. Actually, I've been reading. A lot. And much of it to do with going grain-free. So, I tried it, and wow... seriously felt pretty good. I also got very tired of eggs like every morning, and did experience what was probably carb flu. (Withdrawal, ha!) Anyway, I'm not 100% on my game plan from here on out... should I do grains and do complete Trim Healthy Mama or go sans beans, grains, and legumes? I would LOVE to hear all your thoughts!!! Oh, and I pretty much maintained weight at 138 during this whole time (except Christmas. Ahem.) I'm not sure if I put on muscle while losing fat? Maybe.
