I want to say something. You can do it. You can lose weight, get fit and eat healthy (barring rare circumstances, that is!) when you choose right. It's not usually the "fun" choice at the time, but oh, how it pays off!
Tuesday night, a gal pal and I got together to watch a rather lame chick flick and I volunteered to bring whatever snack she chose. Chocolate was her pick, so brownies I delivered. However, I made perfectly healthy THM cheesecake for hubby (you gotta treat your babysitter ;) ) and me. I totally love popcorn with movies, but thankfully we were out of it! I could've cheered the following morning when I weighed myself and saw a loss! Crazy :)
This morning, I did a great glutes workout- courtesy of my bestie and cousin!- and wanted to get my protein pancakes in right afterwards. But, my little one had other ideas so it ended up being later and I spent the morning pretty ravenous. Now we're having a bit of a rough afternoon with multiple spit-ups, poop, and changes, with my family coming tonight :) But I'm ok because I feel good knowing I've been taking care of myself! Yes, the house takes a hit, but in twenty years, what's more important?
Make good choices. They DO add up!
